TECHNICAL & CONSULTING SERVICES
Our experienced personnel ensures a high-quality standard for all types of environmental consulting projects.
Mev’s management has had a continuous, successful following in its technical services even before it became a licensed contractor. For assessments on real estate transactions, land-use changes such as agricultural to residential use, and completing required environmental permitting to preserve the state’s environmental quality and beauty.
We pride ourselves in assisting energy developers with permitting multiple solar and wind farms on Maui and Oahu. We have contributed to defining wetland boundaries in coastal areas prior to land development. These tasks were conducted with the EPA and local agencies having jurisdictional responsibilities. When necessary, we have provided legal depositions and expert testimony.
Our sampling documentation includes Chain of Custody ties for the shipment to qualified and government-approved labs. We follow the protocol and guidance of the EPA, OSHA, DOT, HAWAII DOH and the respective solid waste and hazardous waste regulations.
MEV works in association with a Maui-based licensed engineer for a multitude of our projects requiring the investigation, management, monitoring, and final sign-off of projects requiring licensed P.E. This engineer has previous experience of responsibility that includes completing federal projects of several million-dollar awards in our pacific region. Other hazardous material contamination sites include chemical site cleanups, multiple underground storage tank removal, and their respective closure projects.
